My Dad was just practicing on his camera and took some shots of Turin playing with his toys and I just thought he looked SOOO cute but I always think he looks cute!!

Mini Van!!

Hey for those of you who wrote and gave recommendations. Thanks a bunch. We did end up getting one and it's sooooo nice to have so much space!! I never thought I would be so happy to drive a mini van but it was so much needed. We ended up getting a Chrysler Town and Country '06 and so far we are happy with it!!

NEED YOUR OPINIONS!!

Hey i need everyone's recommendations!! We are finally going to buy a mini van...9 months over due!! I want a Honda or Toyota but those are not in our price range now so any suggestions on other mini vans that you have and like would be appreciated!! Thanks

Sydney's Party!!

We had Sydney's birthday party a couple weekends ago. Her theme was a dog/tea party. Yes weird combination. She LOVES dogs and wants a Labrador soooo bad and she wanted a tea party so we just combined the two together. It was cute and the kids had a good time. She invited our 2 little neighbor friends and a girl from her class at school who is also in her class at church. My parents came down and brought my niece and nephew so Sydney was thrilled and it went well.


This year we convinced Sydney to have cupcakes because Dillon was just not feeling like decorating a cake and it went well with her tea party theme so she agreed as long as they had paw prints on them which Dillon did but he did not like the way they turned out!

Right when we started singing to her she got all embarrassed! She reminds me so much of when I was little and how easily I got embarrassed!!

Turin was watching my dad eat his cup cake and it was so cute cause you could tell he wanted some so of course Grandpa fed it to him and he SURE liked it..but then what doesn't he like!!

Meeting Santa!!

Well the kids were more eager to meet Santa on Saturday and actually talked to him. At the ward Christmas party a couple weeks ago neither of them talked to him. They just stared and we got our picture!! ha Turin did not cry for the ward Santa but for this one he did. He was fine at first and then he looked up and got sad...hilarious. The Santa was pretty shabby looking. They had a set up in town at a strip mall and it was free so i cant complain!! Good times!!

Cousins!!

Yes I know...MORE pictures of my children. I can look at pictures of them all the time cause they are so cute. So are their cousins of course. We finally have an updated picture of all the cousins on my side of the family. Our newest addition is my precious niece Morgan. It's my brother Scott and his wife's baby. She is the cutest, little doll.

Cutness!!

For Christmas my sister had her photographer friend Deyla take all the cousin's pictures together since we have not had one taken since London was a baby and now that Turin and Morgan have been born we needed a recent one. I can't wait to see how they turned out but these are just a few she took of my kidos. Too bad London moved back at the last min...grrr Little stinker!! Just thought these were cute so I wanted to share!!

Happy 6th Birthday Sydney!!

I can't believe I have a 6 year old. I don't know why that sounds so old to me. Maybe cause it really seems like she was just born and I think that every year and for each kid but its really true! Sydney holds a special place in my heart..maybe it's because she is my first and was a girl(which is what I wanted so bad) or maybe its because she is a lot like me which can drive me crazy but I understand her very well!! Whatever the reason is I love her very much and am very proud of her!! She is becoming a very smart and funny girl.










You continue to get MORE beautiful every year!! I love you Sydney!!

My Baby Is 3!!

My little London turned 3 last month. Her birthday was on a Wednesday and we weren't having her party until Saturday but I couldn't not acknowledge it so when Dillon got home from work we let her open one present(from Grammy G.) and we had cupcakes and let her blow out her candles. She was happy. The whole day though she kept telling us she is not 3 cause its not her party yet!! HA She had no clue. We love our crazy London even though she can be very difficult and we hope she mellows the older she gets! HA

London's 3rd Birthday!!

For London's party my parents, my sister, her husband and their kids came down for the weekend. London's new obsession is Scooby Doo (don't ask me why) so of course she wanted that for her theme. We had a lot of fun and I can't believe she is 3 already!!

The girls were excited their two cousins came for the party!! It wouldn't have been the same with out them. They are all so close.

Ginger Bread Man Cookies!!

The girls have been dying to make gingerbread cookies and London's loves to hear the story book we have of it so we went and bought a cookie cutter and made them yesterday and I think they turned out YUMMY!! Many of you asked for the recipe on my face book page so here it is. I liked it cause it was the perfect taste for kids I think. Not too strong. I wasn't sure if they would like it but they did!! I got it online at allrecipees.com from one of the ones posted on there.

Ginger Bread Man Cookies:

1/2 C. shortening
1/2 C. Packed brown sugar
3 1/4 C.sifted flour
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. cinnamon
1/2 tsp. ground ginger
3/4 C. molasses
1/4 C. water
pinch of nutmeg and ground cloves

I used my kitchen aid and it worked great(the metal attachment, not the whisk one) but if you don't have one then a hand mixer will work just fine I am sure. First i sifted the flour and the other dry ingredients in a separate bowl. I beat the shortening and sugar on low speed for 3-4 min. Then I added the water and molasses slowly one at a time along with 1 cup of the dry ingredients and continued to mix till blended. I chilled the dough in the fridge for 2 hours but the longer the better. I bought a Wilton cookie cutter at walmart and it was the perfect size. We rolled the dough on wax paper and it was great cause we did not need flour(less mess for me to clean up). Grease cookie sheet and cook for 10 min. Wait 5 min before putting them on a cooling rack. Put the oven rack above the center notch. Frost how you like and enjoy!!
FYI- I think they taste best on the day they are baked. They got a little harder the next day!!

Our New Town!

We have been to a few parks since we moved here but this one the kids liked a lot and it was close to the river..the kids LOVE the swings and London would stay on all day if we let her!!



When my mom was still here we went on a walk down town..its actually a cute, little town with some cool shops. There was this bear/face thing on the sidewalk and London thought it was pretty cool. She kept wanting her picture taken by it and that does not happen too often!!
