So I went to my first doctor apt today. Everything went well and the baby looks healthy and fine and there is only ONE baby in there so i am extra happy about that. I was starting to wonder cause i have gotten huge already and i just turned 11 weeks. So I guess it is just fat. We find out what the sex of the baby is in 6 or 7 weeks so i am excited!! I hope it goes by fast.
These are some pictures of Sydney playing around from the other day. Her daddy taught her how to put the balls in her shirt!! How nice of him!! Nothing too exciting has happened here lately so I don't have much to write about.
So I got into the habit of rocking Sydney to sleep sometime in January i think in her rocking chair and it was so easy cause she would fall asleep in 2 minutes tops and then i would put her in her crib. Now she is in a bed and i was still rocking her but I just sold the rocking chair so i would get out of that habit cause i want her to be able to fall asleep on her own but now she is having a hard time staying in bed. I feel bad cause we have to put a gate up at her door but i still leave the door open but she usually will cry for about a half hour before she gets into bed. I wish there was something else i could do so she will want to stay in her bed. It's only for night time cause she doesn't take naps anymore. Does anyone have any advice??
Sydney loves to mow the lawn with Dillon. It's pretty cute cause she will just hold on and walk with him thinking she is doing it. It makes the job go by a lot slower but Dillon is really nice about letting her help. She just loves to be outside, even when it is cold and wet!!
So I had to make some brownies for a church activity and I set them on the counter to cool and I went back to my room to get ready and about 5 min later I noticed Sydney was being really quiet which is unusual and she was not in my room following me which is unusual too so i called for Dillon to look for her and sure enough she got something to stand on to reach the brownies and she starting eating from the middle of the pan. I had a feeling she would do that too but i thought, oh i will catch her before she does it but i was wrong. It was pretty funny!!
I sent Sydney to her room the other day to see if she would clean it by herself. It wasn't even that messy at the time, just some books and dress up clothes on the floor but when I came in to check on her there was stuff EVERYWHERE. She had gotten undressed and was reading books on the floor. It was pretty cute. I have learned my lesson now to not send her in there on her own to clean or it will end up even worse!!
