Happy Father's Day!!

Well Dillon had a good Father's Day so he said but I felt bad cause we had no great gift for him like he had for me on Mother's Day but he was okay with it. We got him some treats and stuff and cards and made breakfast for him and then went to church and made his favorite meal for lunch(meatloaf! UGG) He and Sydney went swimming in our little pool in the back yard cause its soooo stinking hot here so all in all it was a good day! He really is the BEST dad I could ever ask for to help raise our girls and I love him to death. He is my best friend forever!
I also have the best dad ever and he does SOOO much for me and Dillon. I appreciate every thing he does for our family and could not ask for a more generous dad! Of course my father in law comes in a close second cause he too was a great dad to Dillon and he has welcomed me into their family better than I could imagine. Hope you guys had a good Father's Day!!

Well since I did London I had to do Sydney again cause the last time i did this she was not even two and I think it said I looked like her a little more which I guess she does but I think she looks like Dillon a lot too!!

I Need Ideas!

I am starting to get bored here cause its getting hot...too hot to really go out and ride bikes unless you go out really early in the morning and Sydney is in bed when its cooled off in the evening. I am just wondering if anyone has any cute crafts or games or whatever that keep your kids happy/ occupied. It could be things I do with her or that she does alone. Or does anyone do "play school" to teach letters/numbers etc. I was doing good with that until I had London and now its harder to find the time but i really do have time when she is sleeping during the day I guess. Any ideas are helpful. Thanks!!

Lately

My sweet London turns 7 months tomorrow!! Oh how the time goes by so fast and I say that every month I post on here!! I was just taking some pictures of her today before we went to Sydney's dance class and she was smiling so much for me which does not happen often as soon as I get out that blasted camera. They were ALL so cute. I do not know how much she weighs cause she does not have a dr. apt but i am guessing she is at least 21 lbs now.

*She sits alone really good
*She eats baby food twice a day
*She can hold her bottle herself but still needs help from me
*She rolls to get to where she wants to go
*Not scooting or crawling of any sort yet. I think I need to put her on her tummy more. I always just sit her up cause she is so happy just playing there on the floor with all of her toys or sitting in her saucer.
Anyhoo she is a great baby as usual and she gets SOOO excited to see me, especially if I have been gone and come home. It's so cute to see!! She practically eats me when I hold her. HA!


Dillon graduated from his first year of school last night. They had a little ceremony so the first years get pins and then next year when he finishes his second year he will get a white coat. It was fun and not too long so that was nice! I am SOOO proud of Dillon for all the HARD work he does in school even though at times he gets very bored cause he does not find it challenging enough(wish I found school to be like that)but he is trekking along and he will be done with school forever pretty soon!! LOVE YOU Dil!

Going Private

So i decided tonight I am going private MOSTLY because I have pictures of my kids on here and there are too many creepy people searching the internet every day. If you know I have your email address then don't bother giving it to me but if you don't think I do then let me know so i can get it so I can send you an invitation for our blog. If I don't hear from someone who has not given me there email address then I will write you a message so I can get your address. I am not sure how to make it private but I am sure I will figure it out so you have time. I am sure in this next week I will have it done.

My Pal Sydney

My little Sydney just turned 3 1/2 yesterday. I know that is not a huge deal but to me it kind of is cause she is almost 4. I am excited for her to grow up cause I think in many ways she is getting easier for me then when she was younger. I am also sad cause she is my first and there is just something more sad about your first baby getting big. I know she will love going to pre-school in the fall and starting Kindergarten in a couple of years. I feel like I always post stuff about London and Sydney gets put on the back burner but I know she does not feel that way cause she still gets TONS of attention but she really has been a GOOD big sister. She is definitely a little mommy and already bosses London around and London has no idea what she is talking about but she still loves Sydney and smiles every time she walks into the room. Sydney plays SOOO good on her own now. Its so nice cause she went through a phase the last 3 months or so where it did not happen at all and she always followed me and wanted me to play with her but that is over. She is my little buddy and she is still very much a "mommy's girl" but I like it. I love her so much and would not change a single thing about her...well maybe a couple things heheh
