Part 2 Of The Trip

While we were in Colorado Springs, Dillon's sister took us to the Zoo. It was a very nice zoo but lots of hills but it was great to be able to go outside and not melt and want to die!!

They had a very good Giraffe area with tons of them roaming around and you could feed them crackers and they would even lick you. I don't know why I did not get a shot of Sydney doing either but this is what I got!

Part 1 Of Our Road Trip!

Well we just have about made it through week 1 of our 5 week vacation. We have been to many little towns on the way to Colorado Springs, Denver and now we are in Fort Collins for the night and tomorrow we make the drive to Utah to Dillon's parents house. I'd have to say Colorado Springs is by far the best place so far. Very pretty and green. Not too big of a city but definitely not too small. The girls have done so good as usual. London was not her happy self on the first day but I thought it was because she was getting her third tooth(the top one) but now i don't see it...ummm but other than that day she has been a peach. She turns 8 months tomorrow. She is getting to be such a big girl. I am anticipating she will be starting to scoot or crawl during our trip cause she is getting so close to acting like she wants to just get up and go! We'll see. I actually don't mind if she doesn't crawl just yet cause she is the most WIGGLY, CURIOUS baby EVER and she will get into everything I think! I will post more pictures from our trip when we get to Utah!

This is Dillon's older sister Chrystal who let us stay with her and her husband in their new house. It was a lot of fun to see them. They have 3 little dogs and Sydney was OBSESSED with one of them especially cause she was very patient with Sydney. I am sure the dogs are relieved she is gone! hehe

So I guess I am going to post before we leave. I forgot I had these pictures from last weekend. My parents and brother came to visit and we went to a resort nearby. I can't say sharing a hotel room with Sydney and London was fun at night but we survived and would do it again if we had to. hehe We had a GREAT time as usual and the time went by way too fast. Sydney had fun and it was sooo hot so it was great to be at the pool. London is turning into a fish just like Sydney!!

Leaving Soon!

I am so excited to say we are leaving this heat on Sunday for 5 weeks!! It has been averaging 105-108 degrees for the past I don't know how long. Too long for me though!! I will miss our house though cause I am sort of a "home body" but we will have a lot of fun and it will help break up the summer. We are going to Colorado for a week to check out future prospects of residency when Dillon graduates from here and then we will be living at his parents house for 4 weeks while he does one of his clinicals there. Sydney will have a blast seeing Dillon's side of the family and I do like his parents a lot so we will all have a lot of fun! My plan is to post while we are there but it might be a while till that happens.
