Big Girl Bed!!

So Sydney finally figured out how to get her leg high enough on her crib so she could get to the top and fall out. Luckily I was in the room when she tried so she didn't fall but we quickly turned it into her toddler bed to avoid any accidents. She loves her bed and she thinks she is so old. I was a little bummed cause i was hoping she would sleep in her crib for a while longer but she is doing really good and really never gets up in the night and gets out to come into our room and if she does i just have to tell her i am putting the gate up in her room and she usually scurries back to bed! Its pretty funny!! heheh So here are some before and after Pics!!

Easter!!

Technically this is Sydney's first Easter where I think she kind of understood it but she probably thought it was like a combination of Halloween cause of the candy and Christmas cause of the presents she got in her easter basket but she had fun! She sure ate a lot of candy and I think I am going to have to hide it from her. When she woke up we had a little hunt for her before church and then we went to church and spent the rest of the day at my parent's house eating dinner and having another easter egg hunt with Sydney's cousins!

Baby #2 Is On The Way!!

Well I figured since I already put up that little baby tracker at the top of our page I might as well just come out and say we're having another baby. My due date is November 18th! We are very excited and I think Sydney is too if she even understands what I was trying to tell her!

We're Moving To Arizona!!

Well it's official! We are moving to Mesa, Arizona this summer! Dillon decided to go to AT Still University and that will start the end of August and the Physical Therapy program will last for 3 years! We are sad to move away from my family but we are excited to live in a new, warm place!!

She Still Needs Naps!!

Sydney hasn't been taking naps since the end of December but there are many days in the week where I know she needs them still but I don't even attempt cause she wont lie down but of course at 4:30pm in the afternoon or later from time to time she will fall asleep on her own and then she wont wake up for hours and then when its bedtime she is wide awake ahhhhh But one day while I was at the store and Dillon was at home I came to find her sleeping on her Dora couch...she looked so funny and so uncomfortable. I had to take a picture!

So I noticed a lot of people have been doing this and I think its a cute idea so i had to find out for myself who Sydney looked more alike, Dillon or I and I was right!! I always thought she looked more like him but my family always tells me she looks just like me but they were wrong!! heheh

Toe Nails and Summer Time!!

So Sydney is so ready for summer to be here. I even mention that it will be warm soon and she hurries and puts on one of her swimsuits or summer dresses and says, "ready mommy!" It's pretty funny. She also loves getting her finger and toe nails painted. I feel bad cause the polish never stays on more than 5 days. She is a hoot!! We will definetely be outside a lot this summer!!

Quackers The Duck!!

So Sydney has been afraid of this duck from the first time she saw it which was when she was only 3 months old and then just the other day Dillon got it out of her closet and was playing with it and now she loves it! I think what scared her is how it quacks and maybe cause the way it looks..i have no idea. Her Grandpa VanderLinden gave it to her and its her new best friend. She feeds it withher sippy cup and rocks it like a baby!! It's pretty cute.
